Deborah Marshall’s experience covers all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
She has been advising clients in this area for nearly 20 years. Deborah has a particular focus on acting in strategic land projects and other residential development and also works in real estate finance and landlord and tenant.
Deborah’s expertise extends to drafting and negotiation complex documents, such as conditional sale agreements, hybrid option and promotion agreements and collaboration agreements.
Deborah is based in our Cambridge office. First joining Birketts in 2013, Deborah returned to the team in 2021 after a short career break.
Recent work highlights
Promotion and collaboration arrangements in relation to land earmarked for residential development, including sites in Cambridgeshire – 2,500 consented dwellings, Warwickshire – 2,000 anticipated dwellings, Essex – 1,750 anticipated dwellings.
Complex option arrangements in relation to commercial development in Bedfordshire for phased development.
