Eleni Wilce
- Experience
Eleni joined Birketts in June 2021. She is a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice in the firm’s specialist Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) Team. She is located at the Ipswich office.
Prior to starting at Birketts, Eleni worked as a Property Auditor for one of the country’s leading SIPP providers. Here, she developed knowledge in all aspects of commercial property investment and was responsible for analysing and interpreting legal documents relating to the company’s expansive commercial property portfolio. Most recently, she was involved in the administrative migration of circa 2,500 properties from one of the company’s regional offices to another. This enabled her to develop a great understanding of the niche legal requirements for properties held within SIPPS/SSASs.
In addition to this, Eleni is a First-Class (Hons) Law Graduate from the University of East Anglia (UEA), where she attended between 2017 and 2020. Whilst at university, Eleni volunteered in the Debt and Rent Mediation Team at Norfolk Community Law Service and also for UEA’s Street Law Project. Alongside her academic studies and volunteer positions, Eleni was responsible for coordinating the university’s unique Legal Triathlon Competition which consists of a Client Interview, Negotiation and Mock Trial Round.
Outside of work, Eleni enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going out to nice places to eat. When she isn’t at a restaurant, she can be found shopping or watching Ipswich Town play both home and away.
