
Elise is a Solicitor in the Residential Development Team.
She assists landowners, promoters and national, regional and SME developers with residential-led development projects.
In particular, Elise has experience in:
- Acting for housebuilders on acquisitions of sites, especially pursuant to option agreements or conditional contracts.
- Acting for landowners on the disposal of sites already benefitting from planning consent or on disposals conditional on planning consent being obtained.
- Assisting land promoters with due diligence in relation to strategic land development projects.
Elise qualified as a Solicitor in September 2023 and is based in our Cambridge office.
Recent work highlights
On behalf of a land promoter, the disposal of a c. £50 million development site to a PLC housebuilder pursuant to a conditional contract. This transaction included, inter alia, overage arrangements and deferred consideration protected by a legal charge.
On behalf of a consortium of landowners, the disposal of a c. £20 million development site to a PLC housebuilder in the context of a phased residential-led development site.
On behalf of landowners, the grant of drainage and access rights to a national infrastructure provider over land compulsorily acquired for commercial and infrastructure development.
