Ella is a Trainee Solicitor currently in her third seat with our Corporate Team in Ipswich.
She assists the team on a range of corporate matters, including disposals and acquisitions, re-organisations, and general company law matters.
During her second seat, Ella assisted the Litigation Team and advised clients on a variety of commercial litigation matters, including contractual and commercial disputes, indemnity claims, and claims arising from employment contracts. Ella also assisted with defended debt recovery claims and insolvency proceedings, including bankruptcy.
In her first seat, Ella assisted the Employment Team with contentious and non-contentious matters for both employers and employees, including advising on employment contracts, settlement agreements, managing performance, employment tribunal claims, disciplinary and grievance issues, and redundancy.
Experience & education
Joined Birketts in August 2022 as a Paralegal in our Charities Team.
Ella graduated with a First Class degree in Law, achieving the ‘Best Law Degree Prize 2021’ sponsored by the Suffolk and North Essex Law Society.
Ella achieved a Distinction on the postgraduate Legal Practitioners’ Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Norwich.
