UK Top 50 law firm Birketts has advised the majority shareholders of Anglia Registrars (trading as Inform Direct) on its sale to Bright Software Group.
Inform Direct is an award-winning leader in company secretarial software tailored for accountants, bookkeepers, and SMEs in the UK and has been acquired by Bright, a provider of tax, compliance, payroll, bookkeeping, and practice management software.
The Birketts team was supervised by James Austin (Partner, Corporate) and lead by Rachel Astill (Legal Director, Corporate). Supporting on the deal were Dominic Cowie (Solicitor, Corporate), Ella Patten (Trainee Solicitor, Corporate), Anthony Metcalfe Gibson (Senior Associate, Employee Incentives) and Emma Nel (Solicitor, Corporate Tax).
