
Emily is a Trainee Solicitor in her third seat with our private wealth disputes team, working across both the Ipswich and Norwich offices.
Emily assists the team with contentious trusts and probate matters, including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, challenges to the validity of wills, and disputes concerning the administration of estates and trusts.
Emily’s second seat was with the private client advisory team in the Ipswich office, where she helped the team with the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney, as well as the administration of estates and trusts.
During her first seat, Emily sat with the real estate investment team in the Norwich office, where she assisted with asset management, freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, and the refinancing of large property portfolios.
Prior to joining Birketts in September 2024, Emily graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Law in 2022. She subsequently achieved a distinction in the LPC LLM in Legal Professional Practice from the University of Law in 2024.
