Emily joined Birketts in October 2020 and is a Senior Associate in our (Re)insurance Team in London.
She advises (re)insurers on both domestic and international policy coverage disputes across a variety of non-marine lines of business including liability, property and business interruption. Additionally, Emily’s work includes non-contentious insurance matters such as policy wording reviews.
Early on in her career, Emily spent six months on secondment to a managing general agent client, where she acted in an in-house claims handling role.
Emily is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
