Erika Gilbert

Erika joined the Residential Real Estate Team at Birketts in November 2009, having spent the previous ten years working in the property department at a regional office of a large west London law firm where she assisted with residential and commercial property transactions, including telecommunications leases.

Erika has developed skills in residential sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers and plot sales. She also handles non-statutory lease extensions on behalf of landlords. She has gained the CILEX Level 3 Certificate (Conveyancing) and is working towards becoming a CILEX Conveyancing Practitioner. She particularly enjoys guiding first time buyers through the conveyancing process.

When she joined the firm Erika became a member of the Birketts Charitable Fund committee in Chelmsford, and she enjoys playing a part in the distribution of the fund to voluntary and community groups throughout Essex.

Erika is based in our Chelmsford office.
