Hannah Kemp has more than seven years’ experience in leasehold enfranchisement having specialised solely in this area since joining Birketts as a Paralegal in 2018.

Having qualified as a Solicitor in 2022 and progressing to Associate, Hannah now works with a team of paralegals who support this niche practice area in both statutory and voluntary leasehold enfranchisement matters.

Hannah is technical and efficient with outstanding client service at the core of her practice, striving to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients in line with their specific requirements.

Alongside statutory and voluntary lease extensions, Hannah acts on for landlord and tenant freehold acquisitions under the collective enfranchisement legislation.

Hannah has a diverse client base including both private and public landlords and tenants such as social housing associations and local authorities.

Hannah proactively tracks development of law in relation to leasehold enfranchisement, particularly the introduction of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024. Hannah advises both landlords and tenants on the implications of this legislation and how this might affect their specific objectives.
