Harriet joined Birketts in 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor before qualifying as a Solicitor in our SIPP & SSAS Team in September 2022. Harriet is located in the Ipswich office.
Harriet has experience dealing with commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, the grant of leases and other landlord and tenant matters. Between university and starting her training contract, Harriet worked for a leading SIPP provider where she gained an insight into SIPPs, SIPP rules and regulations, commercial property transactions and leases.
During her training contract, Harriet spent her four seats in our SIPP & SSAS Team and Private Client Team in our Ipswich office and our Housebuilders Team and Employment Team in our Chelmsford office.
Prior to joining Birketts Harriet graduated from the University of Bath with a 2:1 degree in French and Politics. Following this, Harriet completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law in Moorgate. Harriet completed electives in Commercial Law, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence and Family Law during the LPC.
