Harriet joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024.
She is currently in her fourth seat in the private client advisory team in our Ipswich office.
Harriet’s first seat was with the commercial real estate team, where she gained experience in a wide variety of matters including landlord and tenant and sale and purchase work.
Harriet’s second seat was with the agriculture team, where she assisted with the sale and purchase of farms and estates, agricultural tenancies and succession planning.
Harriet’s third seat was with the family team, where she assisted with financial and children matters, as well as modern families work.
Harriet is also involved with the firm’s equine sector.
Experience & education
Harriet studied Theology at Durham University, achieving a 2:1 in her undergraduate degree. Harriet then completed the SQE Law Essentials course at The University of Law to convert to law before undertaking the LLM (SQE1&2) at The University of Law in Bloomsbury, achieving a distinction. She completed electives in Family, Employment, Immigration, Advanced Dispute Resolution and the Business of Law.
