Janki joined Birketts in February 2022 as a Solicitor in our Private Client Advisory Team and is based in our Cambridge office.
Janki advises clients on inheritance tax and lifetime planning, drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as registering Enduring Powers of Attorney. Janki also assists clients with the administration of estates and trust work.
Prior to joining Birketts, Janki worked within the Wills and Probate team of a Hertfordshire based law firm where she qualified as a Solicitor in September 2021. During her training contract Janki gained experience in the commercial property team, family team, Wills and probate team and went on secondment to a multinational investment bank and financial services company.
Outside of work Janki enjoys dance classes, getting creative and doing charity work. She has organised fundraising events to help people during the East Africa Crisis Appeal as well as the victims of the Nepal Earthquake.
Janki is a committee member for The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Cambridge, having undertaken the role of Student Liaison Officer.
