Jordan Scott

Jordan qualified as a Solicitor in 2021 and has been part of the SIPPs / SSASs Real Estate team since March 2021. Jordan has over 8 years’ experience in property law.

Jordan joined Birketts in 2015 as a Paralegal in our Commercial Real Estate Team, specialising in the utilities sector. Jordan’s core practice involved transactions relating to gas, electricity, fibre and water infrastructure for residential and commercial developments. This included negotiating complex multi-party documents that were crucial to the progression of large development sites across the country.

Now specialising in SIPPs / SSASs property work, Jordan acts for some of the UK’s leading SIPP (Self – Invested Personal Pension Scheme) and SSAS (Small Self-Administered Scheme) providers dealing with all aspects of commercial property work, including:

• Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
• Leasehold/Asset management.
• The grant of Leases, Licences, Tenancies.
• Deeds of Variation and Deeds of Surrender.
• Property finance.
• Loanbacks/Debentures.
• Acting in a checking capacity only on the purchase of commercial property by a SIPP.
• Acquisition by pension schemes by way of an in-specie contribution or transfer.

Jordan boasts an advantageous variety of commercial property experience that allows him to provide clear, concise and practical advice to clients to help achieve their goals in an efficient manner.
