
Kate joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024. She is in her second seat in Private Wealth Disputes in Chelmsford.
She assists the team on contentious trusts and probate matters, including Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims.
Kate’s first seat was in Commercial Real Estate which involved working on a range of commercial property transactions including acting for landlords and tenants, developers and investors.
Prior to joining Birketts, Kate graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Law degree and a Master’s degree in International Politics (Global Justice and Ethics). Kate then went on to study the LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1 & 2) at the University of Law in Moorgate, completing electives in Employment, Family, Mergers and Acquisitions and Advanced Dispute Resolution.
