
Katey advises on Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax and lifetime planning.
She has extensive experience dealing with estate administration, both testate and intestate estates and navigating complex family dynamics. Katey works closely with clients to ensure their affairs are managed efficiently, providing clear and practical guidance tailored to their individual circumstances which can often include testamentary capacity assessments and advice relating to potential claims.
Katey began her legal career in 2017 as a Paralegal at a regional firm before completing both her CILEx qualifications and the Legal Practice Course. Katey qualified as both a Chartered Legal Executive and a Solicitor in 2021 before joining Birketts in 2022. Committed to furthering her expertise, Katey is currently undertaking her STEP exams to work towards the Society of Trustee and Estate Practitioners Diploma.
