
Katherine (Katie) is a Senior Associate in the Private Wealth Disputes Team.
Katie specialises in resolving inheritance, estate and trust disputes, including claims relating to the validity, construction and rectification of wills and trusts; the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; the removal of executors/ trustees; and proprietary estoppel.
Katie takes a sensitive and practical approach to assist her clients in resolving their differences in what are often highly emotional circumstances.
Katie sometimes provides advice where a situation has not yet become contentious, but a dispute is ‘on the horizon’. By intervening at an early stage, she can help clients avoid a dispute and preserve existing family relationships.
Before moving to Suffolk, in 2019, Katie spent six years at leading London private client firm, Withers, where she was a member of its highly regarded trust, estate and inheritance disputes team. Katie qualified as a Solicitor in 2014.
