Acted on the disposal of a serviced land parcel within a larger multi‑phase estate, involving multiple titles, parties and complex title restrictions. The role extended to managing associated disposals of community assets required by the planning agreement, further land sales, development finance matters and infrastructure arrangements, including utilities easements to facilitate onward development.
Option over mixed‑use development site
Negotiating an option agreement relating to a mixed‑use development site. The instruction involved reviewing and negotiating the option documentation, undertaking detailed title and planning due diligence and coordinating with funders and professional advisers to support the client’s onward development proposals.
Acquisition of residential development site
Advised a developer on the acquisition of a residential development site, including negotiating a conditional contract. The matter involved extensive title and planning due diligence, negotiation of conditionality provisions and coordination with planning consultants and funders, alongside a back‑to‑back onward sale of part of the site to an affordable housing provider, to deliver the transaction through to completion.
