Katie joined the Birketts Commercial Real Estate Utilities Team in the Ipswich office as a Paralegal in 2025.
Working closely with developers and utility providers, Katie conducts initial title register reviews to identify restrictions affecting proposed development sites and obtains key documentation for further analysis.
Katie provides developers and utility providers with a clear understanding of the essential elements of land right utility transactions. She works with documents for electricity substations, gas governors, fibre cabinets, and water pumping stations, including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions of operational land
- Deeds of easement
- Variations and surrenders
Katie raises potential issues with clients early and maintains clear, consistent communication to ensure they remain well informed throughout the process.

Achieved a 2:1 LLB Law degree from the University of Kent.
