Lauren Lloyd
Lauren is an Associate (Licensed Conveyancer) in the residential real estate team in Chelmsford.
She joined Birketts in October 2022, having previously gained seven years of experience within a busy specialist conveyancing firm. She qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2019.
Lauren works on a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, with a particular focus on property finance, including acting for lenders or borrowers on substantial commercial loan facilities secured against large portfolios of property. She also oversees large-scale housing acquisition schemes, such as council buyback schemes.
Lauren grew up on a farm in Cheshire and is a member of the firm’s equine sector.
Recent work highlights
Led large-scale residential property acquisition programmes for a local authority, including a current 300-property buyback scheme over three years, building on a previous programme delivering 117 acquisitions out of a 120-property target within a single financial year.
Played a key role in the completion of a £28M commercial loan facility secured against a substantial property portfolio, managing complex transactional elements to successful completion.
Acted on a £2.8M purchase of a barn conversion set within 12 acres across four titles, achieving exchange of contracts within just three days against a one-week deadline.
