Lorraine Porter joined Birketts in 2005 as a Legal Secretary in the corporate team. Through her experience and dedication, she progressed within the firm and, after completing a CLT course in company law, was promoted to Paralegal in the corporate team in 2019.
Lorraine is part of the company secretarial team and supports the corporate team on a wide range of matters, matters including drafting all manner of documentation required for effecting company and asset sales and purchases, share buy-backs and group re-organisations. She deals with company incorporations and assists in providing a company secretarial and registered office service to a number of clients.
Lorraine’s work also involves changes of company names, changes to capital and officers, compliance matters including preparation of PSC registers, Confirmation Statements, dormant accounts, creation and maintenance of statutory registers, share allotments, share transfers, registration and discharge of mortgages, dissolving companies and re-instating companies, compiling due diligence and controlling data sites.
Lorraine is based in our Norwich office.

Supported on advising Foresight Group on its investment in TEC Electric Motors (TEC), a UK-based distributor of electric motors, gearboxes and inverters.
Supported on advising Buffaload Group on the acquisition of a majority stake in Drury Holdings Limited, which operates the Temples Transport Group.
