Lucy is a Trainee Solicitor currently in her second seat with our employee incentives team based in Ipswich.
Lucy supports the team on a broad range of incentives matters, including the design and implementation of share and bonus schemes, advising on sales of shares to Employee Ownership Trusts, and providing governance support to existing Employee Ownership Trusts.
Lucy’s first seat was with our commercial litigation dispute resolution team, where she assisted on a variety of litigation matters, including contractual and commercial disputes, indemnity claims, and claims arising from employment contracts.
Prior to commencing her training contract with Birketts in September 2025, Lucy joined the firm in June 2022 as a Paralegal in our employment team.
Lucy graduated from the University of East Anglia (UEA) with a 2:1 degree in Law in 2022. She subsequently completed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination with the University of Law and was awarded an LLM in Legal Practice in 2026.
