Luke is a Solicitor in our Commercial Real Estate Team based in our Norwich office having joined Birketts in August 2022 from a local firm in Norwich where he qualified in October 2020.
He graduated from Coventry University with a LLB (Hons) Law Degree in 2012. Upon returning to Norfolk Luke spent the next year volunteering as an adviser with the Citizens Advice Bureau before taking up a role with a law firm where he led a team dealing with all aspects of residential property transactions.
In 2018, whilst working full time, Luke went on to study at BPP Cambridge where he undertook the Legal Practice Course and achieved a distinction during his training contract.
Luke advises on a broad range of commercial property matters including advising landlords and tenants in relation to all aspects of leasehold matters, advising on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, asset management and refinancing. Luke also provides support to the firm’s corporate teams on their transactions which involve a commercial property element.
Outside of Birketts Luke has recently taken up paddle boarding affording him the opportunity to spend more time at the beach. He is an avid gym goer and enjoys spending time with family and socialising with friends as well as travelling. He has a keen interest in music often attending concerts when able.
