Nazia is an Associate Solicitor in our Commercial Real Estate Team in Cambridge.
Prior to joining Birketts Nazia worked at a well-regarded regional and top 50 leading law firm.
Nazia has a broad range of experience across all aspects of non-contentious commercial real estate work. She has particular experience in dealing with the following:
- advising both sellers and buyers in relation to the acquisitions and disposal of commercial real estate (including both single property and portfolio properties):
- advising on secured lending matters to both mainstream and alternative funders
- advising both landlords and tenants on all aspects of the active management of investment and occupational property including the granting of leases, renewals and underleases, forms of guarantee, licences for alterations, deeds of surrender, deeds of variation and assignments; advising on deeds of easements.
Nazia has acted for a broad spectrum of clients including large institutional lenders, investors, and franchisors across a range of sectors including retail, utilities, charities, education, food and drink.
