Nicola Heywood is an Associate in the corporate team at Birketts LLP, advising on a range of corporate transactions with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and group reorganisations. She works with companies, shareholders and management teams, supporting clients from initial structuring through to completion.
Nicola has experience advising on share and asset acquisitions and disposals, and intra-group restructurings, including pre-sale reorganisations and post-acquisition integration. She is particularly interested in developing her practice in complex group reorganisations and supporting clients on efficient corporate structuring.
Her approach is pragmatic and detail-focused, with an emphasis on delivering clear, commercially minded advice aligned to her clients’ strategic objectives.
Nicola studied Law at the University of East Anglia and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London.
