Rebecca joined Birketts’ Agriculture and Estates Team in November 2022. Rebecca is based in our Norwich Office.
Rebecca studied Law at the University of Hull and achieved her practical legal qualification as a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) in 2017. She further qualified as a CILEX Conveyancing Practitioner in 2023.
Rebecca undertakes a range of work within the Agriculture and Estates Team acting for farmers, landowners, tenants and agri-businesses. She works on a breadth of matters relating to rural property acquisitions and disposals; advice on tenancies; financing and refinancing; and more general estate management matters, such as registrations of land, covenants, and easements.
Rebecca has a keen interest in UK vineyards and the growth of viticulture and the wine industry in the UK.
Prior to joining Birketts, Rebecca worked for another local firm where she gained experience in a variety of matters including residential and commercial property as well as dealing with agricultural matters.
The Agriculture and Estates Team work closely with the Private Client Advisory, Property Disputes and Planning and Environmental teams which allow fee earners like Rebecca to extend services for our agricultural and rural clients who come to the firm with a broad range of instructions. Rebecca prides herself on a high standard of service and quality of work for her clients.
Rebecca is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
