Shibli Begum
- Experience
Shibli qualified as a Solicitor in February 2019 and joined Birketts in March 2019. She is an Associate in our Residential Real Estate Team.
Prior to joining Birketts, Shibli entered the legal profession as a Costs Draftsman in 2012, where she undertook work with a variety of law firms. She gained experience in preparing Bills of Costs, Costs Budgets, Points of Dispute/Replies as well as Court assessments. Shibli then went onto complete her training contract with a regional firm in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
Shibli handles all types of residential conveyancing matters and advises on a variety of transactions. She has experience of dealing with freehold and leasehold transactions, transfers of equity, lease extensions, first registrations new build properties and re-mortgages.
Shibli also has experience dealing with shared ownership properties and Help To Buy transactions
Shibli often works closely with other departments in related property matters, drawing upon the legal expertise of her colleagues to ensure that each of her clients receive advice tailored to their needs. She strives to deliver a personalised service with excellent client care by offering clear, straightforward legal advice throughout the transaction.
