Tom joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024.
Tom is currently in his first seat in the Commercial Litigation Team in Cambridge.
Tom assists the IP team acting for clients on a full range of IP disputes involving patents (including patent ownership), copyright, trade marks, design rights, passing off, and breach of confidence.
Prior to joining Birketts Tom studied his undergraduate degree in History at the University of York. After graduating, Tom completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) at BPP Cambridge. Tom also completed his LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1 & 2) at the University of Law Moorgate and studied electives in Advanced Real Estate, Commercial and International Trade, Innovation and Legal Project Management and Mergers and Acquisitions.
