William Cason
Will is a Senior Associate in our Norwich Private Client Advisory Team.
Will advises individuals and families on a wide range of private client matters including Wills, succession planning, Powers of Attorney (Lasting, Enduring, General and Specific), Administration of Estates, Grants of Probate and intestacies, along with the creation and administration of Trusts.
He has also worked with lawyers overseas to administer cross-jurisdictional estates and advises high-net-worth clients on their succession planning; including the availability of inheritance tax reliefs and protection of wealth for their families.
Recent work highlights
Successfully negotiated with HMRC on disputed estate values, including grossing calculations, with interaction, on relievable assets.
Advised ultra-high-net worth business owners on succession planning, incorporating trust structures within their businesses to improve the inheritance tax reliefs.
Assisted a large farming family business with reclassification of shares and transfers to trusts to safeguard capital for the next generation.
