Our Commercial & Technology Team provides support and guidance to clients of all sizes, ranging from individuals through to large corporates, in relation to commercial issues.

With over 20 specialist commercial and technology lawyers, the Team has extensive experience in advising both the public and private sector.

The Team regularly advise on a wide range of matters central to our client’s day-to-day business activities including IT contracts of all kinds, including software development and licensing, software as a service, cloud services, maintenance and support services. We also advise on distribution and agency agreements, supply of good and services, data protection, intellectual property, e-commerce, consumer law, outsourcing and joint ventures.

Our work is often international, assisting clients commercialising their products and services worldwide, as well as assisting offshore clients looking to establish a presence in the UK.

The Team’s approach is to establish partner lead relationships, giving clients confidence their work is being actioned and/or monitored by senior lawyers with extensive commercial and practical experience. Ideally, we seek long term relationships with our clients, to enable us to better understand their businesses, and add greater value to the services we offer.
