Understanding Ancillary Documentation

This course looks at the ancillary documents which are often associated with construction projects to give delegates an understanding of why such documents are important and when they should be utilised.

Audience

This course is particularly suited to contractors and sub-contractors, but is useful for any party that is involved in negotiating, operating or otherwise dealing with ancillary documentation.

Course outline

The course will look at standard forms of ancillary documents, as well as common amendments made and clauses to avoid. These will include:

• Collateral warranties / Third Party Rights
• Novation agreements
• Parent company guarantees
• Performance bonds
• Letters of intent
• Pre-construction services agreements.
