Our vacation schemes are open to law students in their penultimate year, to law and non-law students in their final year, and to graduates. Completing a vacation scheme is an ideal opportunity to find out more about Birketts and our industry sectors.
The Birketts vacation scheme enables you to spend two weeks in one of our offices. We’ll pay you an allowance of £325 per week and pair you up with a current trainee. You’ll experience what we do day-to-day, and have the opportunity to work with partners and associates and contribute to live cases.
The vacation scheme is also a fantastic way to network with colleagues outside of your team and start building relationships across Birketts. We offer a combination of presentations, training and other development opportunities and organise a variety of social events too.
It’s important to remember that our vacation schemes are an integral part of our recruitment process for trainees. We regularly make training contract offers to people in our vacation scheme- in fact around 75% of participants secure a training contract with us.
