Amanda Sturgeon

Amanda joined Birketts in February 2019 and is a Paralegal in our Housebuilders Team.

She originally joined as an administrator having undertaken a similar role in another local law firm. During this time she has gained extensive experience and used to dealing with the sales of new properties for private housebuilders and registered providers. She was promoted to the position of Paralegal as from 1st October 2022.

She has a wide ranging knowledge of high volume conveyancing work, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines. In addition Amanda’s experience includes dealing with and issuing contract documentation and all post exchange and completion procedures as well as liaising with clients and solicitors. She is a key member of the team and is now embarking on the next stage of her career by dealing with her own caseload

Prior to working in a law firm Amanda achieved a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy.

Amanda is on maternity leave.
