Charlotte qualified as a Solicitor in May 2019 and joined Birketts’ Agriculture and Estates Team in February 2022.

Charlotte has experience in dealing with sales and purchases of agricultural land and rural property; tenancy agreements; providing land as security for finance; disentailing settled land to enable it to be transferred; and the granting of other rights such as easements and wayleaves. Charlotte also has experience in matters including overage and option arrangements.

Prior to joining Birketts, Charlotte trained and qualified at a firm in Chelmsford where she was able to gain a wide range of experience in dealing with both rural and commercial property matters.

Outside of work, Charlotte is a keen baker and gym goer (so that she can enjoy all the things she bakes!).

Charlotte was named as a ‘Rising Star’ by Legal 500 [UK 2024]. In this edition, she was described as “proactive and very pleasant to deal with”, and a “good all rounder“.
