Francesca is a Solicitor in our Regulatory and Corporate Defence Team based in our Ipswich office. Prior to qualifying in September 2021 she sat training seats in our Construction and Engineering Team followed by Property Litigation and Regulatory Corporate Defence.

Francesca has worked on significant health and safety regulatory matters, conducting on-site accident investigations in conjunction with the team’s consultants and has supported clients in the aftermath of disasters and fatalities. For the last two years, she has been working on the team responsible for representing a core participant to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and has a focus in public inquiry law.

Following her involvement in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, Francesca has developed a particular expertise in fire and building safety law and advises clients in relation to the new Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021 and the landmark changes that these pieces of legislation will effect.

Francesca also has experience of dealing with private criminal defence matters and representing individuals in the magistrates court.

Francesca studied her undergraduate degree alongside a full-time career in Crisis PR and Business Development, she graduated with a first class honours in 2019 and completed her Masters in 2021 specialising in and writing her dissertation in the inter-relationship between Criminal and Public Inquiry Law.

Outside of work Francesca is a keen artist with a passion for interior design. She is also a slow but happy runner having completed five half marathons; the Norwich Half, the Great North Run, the Great East Run twice and the Monaco Half.
