Gavin has experience advising on the full range of commercial property interests of institutional, corporate and private clients, domestic and international. He specialises in the acquisition, funding, development, asset management and disposal of investment, development and occupational property across all sectors.
Gavin has particular experience of advising on the commercial property interests of long and ultra-long term holders of investment property interests, including endowed charities, family offices, livery companies, landed estates, secondary and higher education bodies and similar institutions.
Gavin attended Trinity College, Oxford. Prior to joining Birketts, Gavin spent almost 30 years at an independent London law firm.
Gavin’s memberships include the Law Society, the Investment Property Forum and British Film Institute. Outside of work, Gavin enjoys films, fine dining and all things Italian.
