Georgie Harrington

Georgie joined Birketts’ Agriculture and Estates Team in April 2021. Georgie works out of our Norwich office and assists clients based across the country.
Georgie studied Law at the University of East Anglia and achieved her practical legal qualification as a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) whilst working full time in practice.
Georgie has an extensive background in Property Law, and vast experience handing property and land transactions. In joining the team, Georgie is able to apply her wealth of practical and technical knowledge to rural property acquisitions, disposals and general land management (registrations, covenants, easements), acting for farmers, landowners, charities, banks, tenants and agri-businesses. Georgie also has experience in handling complicated financing and refinancing matters.
The Agriculture and Estates Team work closely with the Private Client Advisory, Property Disputes and Planning and Environmental Teams which allow fee earners like Georgie to extend services for our agricultural and rural clients who come to the firm with a broad range of instructions. Georgie prides herself on a high standard of service and quality of work for her clients.
Georgie is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
Having grown up in Norfolk, Georgie is enthusiastic about local businesses and suppliers of food and drink, both as a participant and promoter to friends, colleagues and family. Outside of work she likes to kayak, exercise at the gym, and attend live music and theatre.
