Hanna Banks

Hanna is a Trainee Solicitor based in Norwich. She started at Birketts in September 2023 and is currently working with the Housebuilders Team.

Hanna previously graduated from Durham University with a 2.1 in History. She also studied a postgraduate degree at King’s College London (KCL) in Politics and Contemporary History, where she received a distinction. Last year, Hanna passed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) with a distinction.

In August, Hanna finished a Masters in Law at the University of Law (at the UEA campus) where she completed the recently-introduced Solicitor Qualification Exams (SQE). Hanna passed SQE1 on her first attempt in January 2023 in the top quintile of candidates and is awaiting her results for SQE2. As part of SQEPlus, Hanna enjoyed studying electives in Family Law, Immigration and Private Wealth.

Hanna has experience working as a Paralegal for a London-based law firm, as well as experience in recruitment. She has also spent time living in Sweden and New Zealand, and, outside of work, regularly plays tennis and netball.
