Harriet Celerier

Harriet joined Birketts in 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor before qualifying as a Solicitor in our SIPP & SSAS Commercial Property Team in September 2022.

Harriet has experience dealing with commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, the grant of leases and post-completion formalities. Between university and starting her training contract, Harriet worked for a leading SIPP provider in the Property Acquisitions and Disposals Team. Here Harriet gained an insight into SIPP and SSAS regulations and commercial property transactions.

During her training contract, Harriet spent her four seats in our SIPP & SSAS Commercial Property Team and Private Client Team in our Ipswich office and our Commercial Property/ Housebuilding Team and Employment Team in our Chelmsford office.

Prior to joining Birketts Harriet graduated from the University of Bath with a 2:1 degree in French and Politics. Following this, Harriet completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law (Moorgate) and went on to achieve a Commendation in the LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management, also at the University of Law. Harriet completed electives in Commercial Law, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence and Family Law.

In her free time Harriet enjoys travelling, socialising with friends and family and playing sport. Harriet has played racket sports and hockey since childhood and currently plays for Ipswich and East Suffolk Hockey Club. Harriet is the internal communications and social media representative for the hockey club and is part of the committee. Harriet likes to get involved in fundraising events and is passionate about the environment and animals.
