Molly is a Solicitor in our Property Litigation Team, having qualified in March 2022 after completing her training contract at Birketts. During her training contract, Molly completed seats within Social Housing, Real Estate Investment and then finally Property Litigation. 

Molly is based in the Norwich office and has experience advising private, commercial and institutional clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious property matters including: 

  • Landlord and tenant disputes relating to breaches of both commercial lease agreements and residential tenancy agreements. 
  • Property possession proceedings, including serving notices, advising landlords and agents about regular changes to legislation and procedure and representing clients in proceeding in the County Court.
  • General residential advice and dispute resolution relating to boundaries, easements and restrictive covenants.
  • Termination advice relating to agricultural leases governed by both the Agricultural Tenancies Act and Agricultural Holdings Act. 

Before joining Birketts, Molly worked as a commercial property Paralegal at a national asset management company as part of their in-house direct real estate team. As a part of this role, she carried out day to day leasing management work, assistance on property acquisitions and disposals and provided contentious advice for pension funds. 

Prior to joining Birketts, Molly graduated from the University of East Anglia (UEA) with a 2:1 degree in Law. Whilst at University, Molly was President of the UEA netball club and worked part-time at Flagship Homes as part of their in-house legal team. 

Molly went on to complete her LPC LLM at the University of Law, achieving a distinction. She completed electives in mergers and acquisitions, commercial property and employment. 

Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with family and playing netball.
