Nick qualified as a Solicitor in 2011, specialising in (re)insurance litigation and contentious insolvency. Nick is an experienced Senior Associate in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team.
He acts for the London Market (Lloyd’s and Companies) and global reinsurers and insurers, both in arbitration and before the Commercial Court. Nick acts in complex and high value coverage matters arising out of a range of classes of Non-Marine business, many of which claims are international in nature.
Nick also works with insolvency practitioners, company directors and bankrupts in all aspects of insolvency litigation. In particular, Nick has a successful practice in pursing Insolvency Act claims against directors, along with obtaining possessions in bankruptcy. He also acts for those who are subject to insolvency proceedings in defending their claims.
Nick is also available to undertake general commercial litigation work. He has particular experience in trust litigation with an offshore element, previously acting in claims before the courts of the British Virgin Islands and Jersey.
