Sarah Bull

Sarah qualified as a Solicitor in March 2003 and joined Birketts in 2023, having previously worked at a City practice and in the London office of a US law firm. She is a Partner and heads up our London Employment Team.

Sarah has considerable experience advising on the full spectrum of employment issues, from recruitment to termination and litigation. She particularly specialises in dealing with senior executives’ contractual documentation and exits; complex disputes, conduct and performance issues; whistleblowing and grievances; large scale redundancy and restructuring exercises; employment issues arising out of outsourcings, acquisitions and disposals; employment status; harassment and discrimination. She also regularly advises on partner exits and restrictive covenants.

Sarah has a particular focus on coordinating international projects and managing day-to-day international employment advice for clients operating in multiple jurisdictions.

Her clients include investment management firms, tech start-ups and scale-ups, international and national charities and non-profits.

Sarah is the Chair of charity Media Defence and is a member of Level 20 and Women in Banking and Finance.
