Birketts advises Howards Estate Agency on sale to SpicerHaart

Top 100 law firm Birketts has advised the owner of Howards Estate Agency on its sale to SpicerHaart. The financial value of the deal was undisclosed.
Founded in 1926, Howards has established itself as a leading Estate Agent in Norfolk and North Suffolk. SpicerHaart, a family-run business, employs more than 2,000 employees across the UK and is headquartered in Colchester, Essex.
Birketts advised on all legal matters with Ed Savory leading the team with assistance provided by Andrew Ridout (Commercial Property), Ben Clarke (Corporate / Commercial Property), Catherine Hepworth (Employment) and Karl Pocock (Tax).
