Birketts has advised the shareholders of Kinetic IT Limited, a leading provider of specialist data centre infrastructure services, on its sale to Circet UK, part of the global Circet Group backed by ICG.
The transaction marks a significant milestone for Kinetic IT as it joins Circet’s growing portfolio of network and infrastructure businesses.
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in London, Kinetic IT delivers high-quality data centre and critical environment services to major blue-chip clients and hyperscalers. The acquisition strengthens Circet’s capabilities in the fast-growing data centre sector, complementing its existing telecoms and energy infrastructure services across the UK and Ireland.
Birketts acted for the sellers, with Damocles Merry leading the team, supported by Grace Shek, Faye Power, Nixie Tucker, Lydia Hutchinson, Ryan Smith, Rhodri Preece, Sarah Bull and Abbie Head.
