The corporate team at UK Top 50 law firm Birketts has advised Nannie Annies Day Care Nursery on securing an investment from private equity firm Imbiba.

Nannie Annies Day Care supports children by providing learning spaces and opportunities for them to wonder, question, think, predict and investigate. The nursery embeds not just learning outcomes and skills acquisition, but a love of learning, which promotes long-term growth and development.
Imbiba provides capital to accelerate growth, and supports businesses in key strategic areas such as property, operations, recruitment, procurement, marketing, social media and finance.
The Birketts team, based across the firm’s Sevenoaks and Cambridge offices, included Nick Burt (Partner, Corporate), Helen Garner (Partner, Corporate), Salim Somjee (Partner, Corporate), Hannah Findlay (Trainee Solicitor, Corporate) and Carole Bugg (Paralegal, Corporate).
Patricia Gray, Founder of Nannie Annies Day Care, said: “My greatest thanks to the Birketts team, who were fantastic in their support. Throughout the deal, they provided clear and pragmatic advice that helped us achieve a very tight timetable.”
