Hannah joined Birketts in September 2024 as a Trainee Solicitor and is currently undertaking her fourth seat with the banking and finance team in Cambridge, advising both lenders and borrowers in all aspects of general corporate lending and real estate finance transactions.
Hannah undertook previous seats with the corporate team, where she assisted on a wide range of corporate matters, gaining experience in drafting documents for business acquisitions and disposals, restructuring and other general company law matters, and the planning and environmental team, where she assisted with section 106 agreements, highway law matters, planning advice and environmental matters.
Prior to joining Birketts, Hannah studied English with Creative Writing at the University of Nottingham. Since then, she has completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and received a Distinction in the LLM Legal Practice (SQE1 & 2). In her LLM, she elected to focus on the key practice areas of Mergers and Acquisitions, Commercial and International Trade, and Advanced Real Estate.
Hannah previously worked in a leading commercial-chancery set in London and volunteered for Uttlesford Citizens Advice Bureau.
