Carole Bugg has more than 35 years of legal experience and has been an integral part of Birketts since joining the corporate team in 1995.
She became a Paralegal in 2016 and is a key member of the company secretarial services team, supporting colleagues and clients across a broad range of corporate matters.
Carole’s work includes the incorporation of companies, maintaining statutory records for estate management companies, and supporting charitable organisations with the establishment of entities seeking charitable status. She also provides company secretarial and registered office services to a wide portfolio of clients, including overseas businesses with UK subsidiaries. Her role includes preparing minutes, resolutions and a wide range of supporting documents, together with managing post‑completion filings at Companies House and arranging stamping formalities with HMRC.
Carole has extensive experience in incorporations, changes of company name, alterations to share capital and officers, compliance matters, and the preparation of PSC Registers, Confirmation Statements and dormant accounts. She routinely handles share allotments and transfers, mortgage registrations and discharges, and the creation and long‑term maintenance of statutory books. She also undertakes reconstitution work where clients have lost their original records.
Carole is based in the Ipswich office and continues to be a valued and reliable point of contact for colleagues and clients requiring specialist company secretarial support.
