Birketts included in The Times Best Law Firms 2023 list

Birketts, a UK Top 50 law firm, has been included in The Times Best Law Firms list for 2023.
Commended for its mergers and acquisitions work in the past year, Birketts is one of only 19 leading firms across the country featured for this specialism and is the only firm from Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk included.
Created in association with Statista, only 250 out of approximately 9,700 firms in England and Wales make The Times Best Law Firms 2023.
Transactions on which Birketts advised and which were mentioned by The Times include:
- Advising the sellers of fast-growing Electric Vehicle charging specialists EB Charging on its sale to US-based Blink Charging. The deal, for up to $23.4m (£19.4m) represents Blink Charging’s first step in the UK market.
- Advising the owners of premium milkshake company, Shaken Udder, on their investment from private equity firm, LDC.
- Advising on the sale of Original Cottage Company, a 30 year old family business, to Travel Chapter. This included exercising options from 250 option holders and also dealing with a partial reinvestment in the business.
