Birketts welcomes new Legal Associate to Housebuilders Team

UK Top 50 law firm Birketts has recently welcomed Gavin Smith as Legal Associate to its Housebuilders sector group.
Gavin qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2002, became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2009 and then a Fellow in 2012.
Gavin has 16 years’ experience working inhouse for national housebuilder Vistry Group/Country Partnerships and an additional 10 years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
Based at the firm’s Chelmsford office, Gavin has considerable experience in assisting and acting in connection with infrastructure agreements, reversion sales, site acquisitions, site set ups for plot disposals and high-volume plot sales.
On his arrival Gavin said: “I am delighted to have joined the Housebuilders sector group at Birketts. The firm is renowned for its high-quality legal expertise and the level of service it delivers to its clients, so I’m very much looking forward to getting started and sharing my expertise and knowledge.”
