UK Top 50 Law Firm, Birketts, has welcomed Senior Associate Naomi Westcott to its Administrative and Public Law Disputes Team.
As part of the team’s continued growth, Naomi, who has over 11 years’ experience, joined Birketts in September 2023. Naomi, who was recognised as a Rising Star in the 2024 Legal 500, joined the firm from Mischon de Reya, having previously worked for Birketts between 2014 and 2019.
On her return to Birketts Naomi said: “It is great to be back, and I am delighted to join such a great team of experts and work across such an interesting array of cases and issues”.
Naomi and the team advise many schools and universities in education dispute management and student issues. They also lead the firm’s procurement disputes and judicial review work. Naomi has continued her proven track record in successfully running complex and high value litigation, and she and the team at Birketts, have already been successful in the High Court in an interim application on an ongoing procurement dispute worth £260m.

Naomi is based in Birketts’ Cambridge office but works across all of Birketts’ offices in this specialist work type.
