Charmaine Rolfe

Charmaine joined Birketts in April 2016, qualifying as a Solicitor in May 2016. She is an Associate in our Commercial Real Estate Team.
Charmaine has experience in a wide range of commercial property matters particularly with landlord and tenant matters and commercial freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals. Charmaine acts for both landlords and tenants in connection with the negotiation and drafting of leases, lease renewals, rent deposits, licence for alterations, surrenders and assignments. Charmaine also acts for developers in negotiating deeds of easements and transfers in relation to utilities services.
Prior to joining the Commercial Property Team, Charmaine had over seven years’ experience in residential property. This included dealing with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, shared ownership, help to buy, first registrations, assents and restrictions.
Charmaine is the co-chair of the Cambridge young professionals group and a member of the Cambridge junior lawyers division.
Charmaine is based in our Cambridge office.

She is a keen hiker, regular gym member and musically trained in piano, violin and drums.
